Based on potentially erroneous information by the BBB I may have inadvertently hurt an innocent company. This story is still developing but I think it is important for diggers to know that an innocent company may have incorrectly been associated with PriceRitePhoto with very unfortunate consequences.

I think the things that bothers me most about this is the apparent Mob mentality that the online community is getting.  It’s like a swarm of irate people waiting to unload on someone.  Granted, sometimes its warranted, but in cases where people are just reading a blog and inciting a riot, it seems that some accountability is needed.

Nobody wants to take responsibility for their actions.  And now that words are gaining so much influence, the lowest common ‘Walmart Shopper’ is speaking from a ten story pulpit.

It’s no wonder our political system is so screwed up, we exchange information as fear cloaked in hatred and mistrust.  Granted, theres plenty of wrondoing to support this kind of response, but who in their right mind would want to be a part of this? What reasonably sane and qualified person would submit themselves to public scrutiny?

It reminds me of the Pink Floyd song In The Flesh (from The Wall)

Are there any queers in the theater tonight?
Get them up against the wall!
There’s one in the spotlight, he don’t look right to me,
Get him up against the wall!
That one looks Jewish!
And that one’s a coon!
Who let all of this riff-raff into the room?
There’s one smoking a joint,
And another with spots!
If I had my way,
I’d have all of you shot!

When did common sense lose its voice?
